This past week has been really busy for me, beginning AND ending with bee stings, me covered in throw up and lots of potty training! Let me explain...
A week ago (I think it was last Sunday) I was in the kitchen holding Kai. I put Kai down on the ground and walked away for only a few seconds when I heard him screaming in pain. I ran back to see what could have happened in such a short time and I saw him rubbing his mouth and chewing on something. I picked him back up and tried to scoop out whatever it was in his mouth. This was difficult because he was chomping on it like crazy. I was finally able to get it out and it was a BEE!! You heard me right Kai was eating a bee and it had stung him on the inside of his lip. Poor boy.
Could someone explain to me how this happened?!!

I gave Kai a
popsicle to help with the stinging.
By the way I LOVE these smaller slow melting
popsicles, they are the BEST, perfect for when your child gets stung in the mouth by a bee!!

A few days after the whole bee incident another equally crazy thing happened...
I decided to take the kids for a walk. I thought a fun walk along the trails to feed the ducks and then to play at the park was something the kids and I both needed because the weather had been cloudy and it was finally clearing up a bit. After Kai and Evan woke up from their naps I started getting all three boys dressed and ready to go.
I should have listened to the very first indication NOT to leave the house when all three of the boys began screaming and crying as I was getting them dressed. But I didn't listen and I thought as soon as we get outside they'll be happy and we can enjoy
ourselves. I loaded Evan and Kai in the double jogging
stroller and
Paden and I walked together behind.
As soon as we got on the trail
Paden started crying and limping and saying he couldn't walk because his foot hurt. So I stopped and examined his foot and discovered he had a large blister. I took Evan out of the stroller and put
Paden in his spot but as soon as I did this Evan began crying too and then he threw up all over the both of us. I was completely covered from neck to knees. So the only thing left to do was to take Kai out of the stroller, put Evan back in the stroller and try to get home as quickly as possible. The only problem was that it's impossible to push the stroller with one arm while holding a baby in the other so I had to put Kai on top of the stroller!
As I was heading back to the cross walk there were cars EVERYWHERE (of course there were no cars on the way to the park but on the way back as I'm covered and dripping with throw up, kids crying in the stroller and a baby on top that's when there are cars AND everyone staring at me) so I am crossing the cross walk and I look up at this woman in her car and she is glaring and shaking her head at me like I am the worst mother in the world....
ahhhhh!
I felt my face turn red. I wanted to cry, scream and yell!
I snapped a picture just to remind myself to NEVER leave home alone with these three again because you NEVER know what's going to happen.

The best thing that happened this week was Evan is now a big boy and goes potty in the big boy potty! I love when this happens! It was a lot of work for the both of us but there's nothing better than to see how proud Evan is of himself!! So sweet!!

Like I said, this past week BEGAN and ENDED with bee stings and throw up. Here's how my week ended...
Last Saturday afternoon I decided to take the boys on a drive around
Chuckanut (I learned my lesson and didn't do the stroller thing again). As soon as we got in the car
Paden began whining and then fell asleep. When we got home I
layed him down on my bed and about an hour later I heard him screaming so I went in and picked him up and then he threw up on the both of us. He continued to do this all night long. In the morning I was in the kitchen feeling like I was going to be sick too when I felt a bee sting me. I almost started crying from the all
the craziness and the lack of sleep I had. Luckily Robby came to my rescue like always and cleaned, cooked, and changed diapers!
Here are some pictures of Robby and Kai doing dishes.

Did I mention that I LOVE this man!
