Pregnancy Update!

Okay, for all of you that are interested... I am now in my 23rd week of my pregnancy or first week of my 6th month, and over halfway through!
I just had an appointment with my midwife and am measuring right on, not under or over, which was surprising since I look like I could give birth any day! I am STILL a little nausious but it is getting better. It just makes me nervous that pregnancies seem to be getting harder for me and I am not looking forward to what may be in store for me in my next pregnancy!
I LOVE being a mom I just wish the stork could do the work of dropping them off to me and I could have the fun of raising them!! Oh well, they are worth every bit of discomfort that pregnancy brings! 16 weeks to go!!

Squalicum Harbor!

We have been trying to do as much as possible outside, while we still have this gorgeous weather. On Monday we went on a walk around Squalicum Harbor, and played at the park, and then ate some delicious fish and chips at an outside restaurant along the path.

It was such a beautiful and relaxing day!

I love little boys they are so funny! The first thing they go for are the rocks and mine could spend hours throwing them into the bay!

Yes, I know this looks a little scary but he was a lot safer than it looks.

Can you see the rock he threw?!

I love the pointed finger throw here!

Beautiful blue eyed boy!
I like this picture because his eyes match the color of the water!

Robby took Paden and Evan on a ride as he roller bladed, Evan loved it the most! Paden just wanted to throw rocks and watch a man there flying his kite.

We met up with my cousin Seth, and my bother Jonathon and his wife Shanna and my nephew Jackson. In this picture Evan is sharing gummy worms with Jackson, sorry Shanna!!!

Wow, a picture of Robby and I, that NEVER happens!

The men pushing the strollers...so adorable!

Sunday at Hovander Park!

This park has become our boys' favorite place to be. After Church I packed up our roast dinner and met my parents and my sister for a little picnic to enjoy the heat outside (85 degrees)!

I love these hats so much!
Paden calls it his "sombrero!"

You can't get any cuter than these two!

We could have spent hours and hours playing with all of the farm animals. Paden and Evan especially loved all of the different birds.
This rooster and a goose really wanted to eat Paden's "sombrero". Paden thought it was hilarious and kept bringing his head forward so that they could nibble on his hat!
There was one goose that loved Paden a little too much and bit him on his lip, we told him he just didn't know how to kiss!

Playing at the park!

My dad held on to the boys' hats for them!
Very Cute!

Another Sunny Day!

We began the day with a stop at Boxx Berry Farms, today was their annual Strawberry Festival. This was the first time that I've gone and it was so much fun, perfect for little boys! We also ran into our friends Jenna and Anna Kate Gent and also the Meynders family!

At the festival they had a kiddie tractor/train ride that Paden and Evan rode multiple times and never wanted to get off. They also had wagon tours, strawberry sundaes, and balloon toys....all free!!

Of course they wanted balloon swords, that ended up popping before we got back to the car!!

Paden enjoying the juiciest strawberries I have ever had! I can't wait to take the boys back this year for their raspberry and blueberry festivals!
The fun didn't stop there we came home and invited his friends Javin and Jaxon over for a BBQ! I LOVE this weather!

What do you think, did we enjoy the sun yesterday?!!

Yeah! It feels like summer has arrived! We were beginning to wonder why people move here! Now if only the rest of summer could be like this!
Yesterday we spent the ENTIRE day outside (9am-7pm)! We have the absolute best house ever for kids to play. A huge driveway for them to ride their many vehicles, an even bigger grassy fenced in yard for them to run, play in the sprinkler or jump on the bouncy castle. And perfect location, right across from Bloedel Donovan Park and seconds from the What Falls Trails.
Come on down to the Loveland's play place!

Big Boy Now!

The day after we got back from Osoyoos we decided to try another shot at potty training Paden. So we took him to Target and let him pick out whatever he wanted (within $20) and told him he could have it as soon as he went potty in the toilet. He had a lot of fun looking at EVERYTHING and ended up choosing a really cool red race car with lots of gadgets. On the way home we reminded him that he had to go potty first before we could take it out of the box. This made him a little nervous and very concerned he said, "I'm scared, could you help me??!" Then before we got home he said, "I can do it!!"
We placed the car on top of the fridge and he went straight for his potty, pulled his pants down, took off his own diaper, and peed in the toilet!! Yeah!!
We were all so excited and were dancing around and congratulating him. He was so proud of himself too he kept saying, "look I did it, I did it!!!"

He had two accidents the first day and hasn't had one since then he even goes without being told and tells me when he needs to go. He has even gone in public bathrooms!
Potty training Paden was so much easier than I thought and so rewarding, it's fun to see how proud he is of himself! Good Job! My baby boy is growing up!

York Family Vacation!

This was the highlight of the trip for my dad! He wrestled David down to the ground and tortured him with raspberries.

Our family vacation was in Osoyoos, we stayed in a beach house right on the lake thanks to my sister Jenny and her husband Chuck! It was so much fun, we are already planning our trip their next year!

My mom and dad had all of their grand kids together (7 so far). They played together in the lake almost every minute!

Paden got a ride in the canoe from Grandma and Grandpa while they pulled around Jocelynn and Jason.

Paden and Evan threw rocks in the water for hours!

Paden sitting next to the fire roasting marshmallows and starbursts! (David made us try them and they were delicious)

My brother Jonathon showing off his skills!
We were constantly entertained by him and my younger brother David. Never a dull moment in this family!

Paden was a lucky boy he got a canoe ride from both of my brothers and parents! He has a lot of family that loves him to pieces!

This is my three week old niece Lauralynn (not even 8 lbs.) I tried to hold her as much as possible.
We came up to Osoyoo's for Jason's baptism and Lauralynn's blessing that were done right at the house!

Here is most of the family after the baptism and baby blessing.

My mom and dad went out and bought tons of beach toys and these little chairs so that every one of their grandchildren could have one!

I have the BEST family ever and can't wait for another vacation with them!

I'm off to Osoyoos Canada!

This is where we will be vacationing for the next few days! My older sister Jenny has friends that own this vacation home in Osoyoos. We are going to meet her family here to watch her son get baptized and new baby girl be blessed! The weather has been between 80-90 degrees! Yeah!

I hope you all enjoy the rain while I'm gone!
By the way I have to leave Robby behind because of work, so will someone take care of him on Sunday he will be very lonely without me and the boys!
Well....maybe not!

Scary Castle: Part 2

So the first attempt at getting the boys inside the castle didn't work out so well, so we gave it another try. You can see Robby trying to keep Paden inside!

Tomorrow is officially the first day of summer and you can tell on how Evan is dressed here that we are enjoying the summer sun.....NOT!

Yeah! All smiles, they love it!
No more scary castle.

No sissy boys in this family!

Does this look scary to you?...

A few days ago Robby's boss graciously came and delivered this to our house. Her kids had grown out of it and instead of selling it she gave it to our boys. It was a very heartfelt gift!

So, does this fun blow up castle look scary to any of you?!!

Our boys seemed to think so, they screamed in fear for about 10 minutes after having it blown up! We were finally able to get Evan inside and he LOVED it and didn't want to leave. Paden is still a little worried about it, but hopefully we'll have some nice weather today to try it out again!
Robby and I were both laughing so hard watching Paden and Evan crying hysterically over this dream toy that ANY kid would love!

I am sure they will get over their fears and enjoy this all summer long!

Hovander Park!

I have been wanting to come out to Hovander Park for the last few months now, and yesterday was the day! The sun was shiny and it was actually warm enough that I got a little tan! Yeah!

These turkeys were the main attraction! Every time Evan got a little too close to them he ran screaming in fear it was like he was trying to figure out what in the world they were!

Robby helping the boys to feed the chicken, roosters, and geese.

The bunny was kind enough to share it's food with Evan, how sweet!

Of all the animals on the farm: cows, sheep, goats, pigs, bunnies, etc. the horses were Evan's absolute favorite, he didn't want to leave!

Isn't Paden such a cutie!

This mommy goat was so sweet! She ran right up to us and followed me everywhere, I think she was in love!

Cutest little buddies!

Paden kissing Evan and showing him the baby cow.

This has now become my favorite park we had the best time visiting with the animals, running all over the grass, going down to the river, and playing at the park. We will definitely be coming here more often! Next time we'll have a picnic!

Happy Father's Day!!

Paden had a very busy Saturday preparing for Father's Day!

He cleaned the entire house, washed all the laundry, baked a cake, made Robby's favorite chocolate chip cookies, and helped make a beautiful Happy Father's Day sign on the ground with chalk!
On Sunday he helped make a yummy roast dinner and clean up after a house full of people, he was very exhausted. Father's Day can really wear you out! But his Daddy is worth it!

Happy Father's Day!

Birthday Fun!!

Saturday we had a great day, we got to go celebrate our friend Anna Kate's first birthday party! Her mom and dad did a beautiful and very creative job decorating. The theme for the party were cupcakes.

Paden had a wonderful time with all of the games. Here he is at the cupcake walk and below at the cupcake bean bag toss, and pin the cherry on the cupcake! This party was very pink and girly! I loved it!

The boys went away with some serious prizes. Here is Evan and cutie Claire checking out the prize box.

And here she is, the birthday girl herself...Anna Kate! Look at that cute little puppy dog face, she didn't seem to have any idea that all of this was for her and seemed to be a little confused at her audience staring and yelling at her to "eat the cake!"

Pinata Time!
This was the most memorable part of the party!
Instead of hitting the pinata with a stick they made it more safe by having strings that you pulled from the bottom that let the candy out. Well, as the candy started falling out all of the kids ran under it to grab some. Most of the candy was still left inside so when Jenna pulled the rest of the strings to let it out, it landed on the heads of some of the kids and there ended up being some sad tearful kids!
So, I guess when it comes to pinatas there is no way to make them safe!!

Paden showing me all the candy he got from the pinata!

And of course, opening presents!

Thanks for the great food, yummy cupcakes, fun games and tons of prizes!! The boys and I had a blast! All of this pink is starting to make me want a girl...hopefully one day!

Wise beyond his years!

Today Paden (my three year old) and I were having another one of our Very in depth conversations together and this is how it went!

Me: "Paden are you my sweety?"
Paden: "No, I'm not yers sweety I'm a boy!"
Me: "What am I?"
Paden: "Yers my mommy. Yers an angel!"
Me: "What is daddy? Is Daddy an angel?"
Paden: "No Daddy's a boy. Yers a girl. Yers an angel. You need yers wings on yer shirt so you can fly like a butterfly!"

Ahhhh..... I was thinking the exact same thing!!

Don't worry....This Is Not a Sweatshop!

This is my new trick, whenever I need to clean and don't want to be constantly interrupted, I just hand the boys a water bottle and some rags and tell them to clean the windows!! It works great and they can keep themselves entertained for hours! The only downside is that it usually turns into a water fight!

Evan worked so hard that he needed to take a little break!

A New Hobby...

I have a new hobby!
My new hobby: Creating Family Home Evening Lessons!

I have been spending the last few weeks copying, coloring, cutting out and laminating TONS of songs and activities. I am addicted!! I began this because the weather has been HORRIBLE and am still feeling sick to my stomach, so I decided that I needed to keep myself busy doing something constructive.
I have been so busy that I almost haven't even noticed all the rain. This has been so therapeutic for me. Robby comes home every day and makes fun of me because I'm always sitting somewhere coloring or cutting something out! I know he loves it though, yesterday we had our first Family Night using some of the things I've been working on and it was GREAT!
The topic last night was on "Prophets"!
First, I got out our Family Home Evening blanket and we sat around the blanket (it's just a regular blanket but I want to find a cool quilt or something). Then we sang the song "Follow the Prophet" (I had cut outs of the song that were put on large popsicle sticks so that we could hold them up) this makes it so much more fun for Paden and keeps his attention the entire time. Then, we went through and talked about different Prophets in the books "Who's Your Hero". Afterwards I showed a picture of our prophet and we memorized the 6th Article of Faith! Lastly, we played the game, "Do As I'm Doing, Follow, Follow, Me!" I tried to relate this game to following the Prophet!?! Then it was time for treats!

I love Family Night! Paden is finally at an age where he can sit through the entire thing and it's fun watching him enjoy it and actually understand what we're talking about! Today he was reciting part of the 6th Article of Faith!!
Yeah! I love it! I have already started working on my next lesson, Temples! Okay, so I know that I sound like I need something else to do but oh well, I Love It!

One of my favorite websites for FHE ideas is sugardoodle.net, if you have any good ideas send them my way.

David has graduated!

Oh, The Places You'll Go!

Congratulations!
Today is your day.
You're off to Great Places!
You're off and away!
You have brains in your head.
You have feet in your shoes.
You can steer yourself
any direction you choose.
You're on your own. And you know what you know.
And YOU are the guy who'll decide where to go.
-Dr. Seuss

Watch out world here he comes!

The future lies before you
Like a field of driven snow,
Be careful how you tread it,
For every step will show.

What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.
-Ralph Waldo Emerson

Try not to become a man of success, but rather try to become a man of value.
-Albert Einstein

If opportunity doesn't knock, build a door.
-Milton Berle

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking, so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.
-Marianne Williamson

Congratulations David!
You are a kind and good person and will do great things, I can't wait to see what your future holds!

Happy National Doughnut Day!

This is making me really hungry, I think I will have to join in and celebrate this VERY important day!!

The NBA Finals: Game 1

For all of you die hard sports fans out there here's an update on the NBA Finals!!
Last night was the first game, it was held in Boston at the Celtics home court and it was pretty close the entire time. But, SOMEHOW the Celtics won it by 10 points?!!
The next game will be held on Sunday. Robby has been really good at not watching games on Sunday, so we'll see how strong he is!

"Project Robby"

Robby has decided to transform my parents backyard into a beautiful retreat!?!
So, we have spent many days working in the yard to attempt this great task!

The boys kept themselves busy finding worms and slugs.

Here he is putting up a wall of stone, I have to admit that I was pretty impressed with his landscaping skills.
Even I got in on the work. What a beautiful figure!!

Evan wore himself out so much that he fell asleep in the swing!

I am really grateful to have a husband who is ALWAYS finding different ways to serve others, knowing Robby I am sure that we will have many more projects to work on together in our married life.
It is definitely a greater blessing to be married to someone who knows how to work and serve even if it means more work for me!!
Plus, this means my sons will have no excuse for being lazy with having a dad like theirs.

Welcome to the family little girl!

My sister Jenny gave birth to a beautiful little 7lb. 4oz. girl named Loralynn Amber!
She looks EXACTLY like her sister and 2 brothers!
I can't wait to hold her.

Another one bites the dust...

Lately we have had too many friends move away. Last Saturday we said goodbye to the Ivies with a party at the park! Everyone is sad to see them go even though it looks like we are having tons of fun celebrating.

During the party I started looking around for Evan and found him laying on a little grassy hill eating a cookie!
At this age he could be doing almost anything and look so cute.

The funnest part for me was being able to see friends that I've missed since our ward was split. Going to Church isn't quite the same without the Fergusons, Marriotts, Hanks, Capells, Gents, Wilsons, Millers (who were a no show at the party!!!) and many more. It's funny that being in a different ward sometimes feels like being in a totally different city.

Anna Kate is so adorable! I don't think it's possible for her to take a bad picture with eyes like those.

Little baby William playing with a ball bigger than himself!
I hope to be able to get together with good friends more often without having to say goodbye to another.
